I understand this bookseller’s frustration. Tom Wayne, used book retailer in Kansas City, calls it “the funeral pyre for thought in America today.” He’s trying to send the message that television and the internet are diminishing the public taste for quality reading material. Well, yeh, duh! Haven’t we been warned of this for years? But I got a better idea. Ever heard of Papercrete? Instead of burning them, why not make something useful? Like a house!
