. . . how burying yourself up to your neck, sitting on a pole for decades, or staring at the sun because the Virgin Mary told you to are all acts of devotion. Am I just too “left brained” to be truly spiritual?
But, on second thought, you know what? I know a lot of folks who think learning and relating to academic theology is the rough equivalent to any one of these activities. So who am I to judge?
